Am I correct that Ontario BMD's are not online.

My wife has some relatives  there and her father was born in Hamilton, Ontario

Ontario BMD's are on line through ancestry.ca or the Ontario Vital Statistics Project for free.   With ancestry you get to look at the original document, OVSA is transcribed only.

They are only public up to 1910 for births, 1924 for marriages and 1934 for deaths, anything over those years you have to order directly from the Gov't of Ontario www.serviceontario.ca
