thomas langhorn born abt 1816,amelia mattock born abt 1823,thomas and amelia married june 1846 can anyone tell me who thomas father is and amelias,not sure but somee of the family seems to think he came from scotland?liz hutchison Tongue

1851 indicates that he was born in the Bloomsbury area - but I cant see him in 1841 ....  Roll Eyes

nor on the IGI ....

If they married in 1846 you should be able to get the certificate which will give the names of both fathers.  As Newfster says it appears to be in Marylebone Q2 1846 Vol 1 p272

yes thomas was inmarylebone area thats about all i know about him except he married amelia mattocks iin june 1846.he is my g/g/grandfather. Huh

I think you do need to get the certificate to ensure you follow the right lines back.  If you look at the IGI on www.familysearch.org there is a possible baptism for Amelia but to be sure it is the right parents you still need that certificate!
