St Aubyn's Arms
« on: Monday 28 April 08 18:22 BST (UK) »

Hi, I wonder if anyone knows anything about the history of St Aubyn's Arms Cowen. I would be very happy to see a picture of the Inn . We have just discovered that  James POOLEY kept the Inn in 1861 and one of his daughters married into my husband's BRAY family.
Cheers friends  Grin

Trees,

I think this is the pub - in the village Praze-an-Beeble, parish of Crowan.

That's a very good photo the pub, but if you would like some more let me know and I'll go and take some for you.  My mother-in-law lives opposite it  Wink

Hi Cornish maid  Yes please that would be a great addition to my pub collection I can't believe how many publicans are connected to our family I can't remember when we last went in one This will also help a new "cousin" contact from Canada his Great grandfather was sent to Canada by Barnados.
