Can anyone help with a look up for the birth of Thomas Wild born circa 1849 Sowerby, Yorkshire? I have found his Marriage to Harriet Turner born circa 1853, Warley, Yorkshire, but cant find any birth for him on BMD site. Also having trouble finding the family in 1891 1861 and 1851. I would be greatful for any help  if you could. Thomas seems to have died between 1881 census and 1901 census images as his wife Harriet is stated as widow in the 1901. This family seem to be hard to trace  Sad

Hi Dave,

There's a few births on the FreeBMD that might  be him:

Thomas Wild     June 1849    Halifax  22     260

                         Dec  1849    Halifax   22     276

                         Mar 1850     Halifax   22    2[82]4

Sowerby is part of the Halifax registration area.


There's also one in Sep 1847 in Halifax.
