manchester cathedral 1834 marriage look up please

James Bates married Jane Hince, Manchester Cathedral, 22 Sept 1834. I really need the witnesses and particularly James' occupation.

I live in the USA and cannot get this info easily.

I can't remember who I contacted about a marriage at the Cathedra but it was by email and it was the Archivist at Chetham's School who replied - I suspect the Cathdral have a web-site and that's how I went about it.

I remember a couple of years back e-mailing someone there and it worked great, but they left and I am not sure what the new address is.
Any help with this would be welcome.

I found the cathedral website and sent a request to one of the e-mail addresses shown in the section on "archives" but as of today I haven't heard back.

I could rent the film but for one marriage it would be expensive.

I emailed them months back, still waiting for a response   Cry

So now I'm going in person, I'm looking up some cathedral marriages next week, i've added it to my list, I'll let you know.
