Thomas Horner North any census lookup

I am looking for any census record for Thomas Horner North born 1826 christened Drypool Yorks 28.12.1826. He was the son of John North and Betsey (unknown) and he had 11 siblings who I have found on the IGI. He married Ann Elders (1832) from Filey but he had children to Eliza Ann Dent(1848) who was born in Hull. The eldest was Gerald Guildford Horner born in Islington 8.10.1881 although Eliza is on the 1881 census living with her parents in Hull. I am told she travelled to London to have the child. I am trying to find if Eliza was living with Thomas at any time and I thought census's were the best chance of finding out. It's a complicated story but any help would be greatly appreciated.

He is living with Annie in 1891 and 1901 (Sculcoates).

In 1901 Eliza in living in Ilford, Essex as Eliza A Horner, with Gerald (19) and Muriel (13). You presumably knew this but I can give you details if you want.

It's difficult to see how he maintained this dual life in Middlesex and Yorkshire.

Thanks for all your help. I have only just found this branch of the family through a gentleman on Genes Reunited. When he told me that Eliza had 4 children all illegitimate, I was amazed. She was my g.g.grandmother's niece and I know nothing about her. He is still trying to find who Thomas Horner was.
It is taking me a while to sort out what you have found and comparing it with what he has told me. The children were
Gerald Guildford Horner (1881) Arthur Warwick Dent (1874)Cecil Rowland Horner (1876) and Muriel Dorothy (1885)(surname unknown). I will have to inquire about certificates.
Richard, I would be grateful for any details you may have, it looks as if this is going to be more complicated than I thought. I wonder if Eliza moved to Middlesex for the birth of the first child and stayed there, they certainly seemed to lead a complicated life. But doesn't it make our hobby interesting??

Gerald G Horner, 19, son, solicitor's clerk, b Hornsey
Muriel D Horner, 13, dau, b Hornsey

Cecil Rowland Horner died shortly after birth.
Arthur Warwick Dent died age 1 registered as Arthur Warwick Horner.
