I'd really appreciate any information on:

Birth: Thomas FOSTER b. c1811 in Easingwold, Yorkshire
Birth: Hannah ?UNKNOWN? b.c1811 in Kearley or Kerby, Yorkshire

Marriage: Thomas FOSTER (above) with Hannah ?UNKNOWN? (above)
This marriage could have taken place in Easingwold/Kearley, Yorkshire where they were born or in Tabley, Cheshire, where their children were born!

The couple had 4 children George, Ann, Hannah and Emma between 1844-1856, all of whom were born in Tabley, Cheshire.

Thanks for any help!

Hi Susie,

Not much help with your actual question - sorry! - but just for the record, the 1851 census also shows a daughter Mary age 5 and a daughter Fredericka age 3.

I suppose you are aware that the children's birth certs would show Hannah's maiden name?

PS Was hoping to find the 2 girls in 1861 with Hannah's family but they are on their own in Newton in Mackerfield, Lancashire. Mary is a pupil teacher.

I've ordered Frederica's birth certiciate from Cheshire BDM so hopefully we'll track down her mother yet... Thanks again for your help!
