Hi Julie
Transcriptions for those dates are a lot scarcer - particularly if she re-married sometime after William's death.
Are there any living family members who may be able to narrow things down a bit for you (eg) was she at any particular family occasions in the 1920's or 30's (weddings/christenings etc)
If that type of info is not available - it's the long haul of checking all the deaths on the GRO index which is available at your nearest main library if you live in the UK. It can also be searched online if you have an Ancestry subscription or at www.findmypast.com which is a paysite

Thank you for your reply Carol. Unfortunatly there is no one left to ask . just wanted to put a family tale to bed really and find out where she was put to rest, my father use to talk of visiting his gt granny's grave before it was built over in the town in the tht 80's or 90's. which I believe to be her somewhere in the St Matthews area of Ipswich, there again.. I cant be sure. I found her husband Williams grave in the local cemetery I was'nt lucky enough to find Charlotte with him tho. I did search through the burrial books but nothing jumped out at me for her! .... Julie.

Hi Julie
It seems strange if her husband had his own grave that Charlotte isn't buried with him.
She would have been about 50 when he died so not too old to have re-married

Thats what I thought Carol, I was hoping that she was going to be in with him.. but I wasnt that lucky I was told it was a public grave he was in so maybe there wasnt room or something I dont know, would have solved the problem I have now if they had of been together.

Hi Julie
That explains it - if he was buried in a public grave there is no way Charlotte could have been buried with him at a later date.
