The Moore family, descendants of the earls of Drogheda, commissioned Thomas Turner to design a country house for them at Killashee in 1861. www.killasheehouse.com/history.html

The Kildare Observer 14th July 1906 reported a burglary which took place at the home of Colonel St. Leger Moore at Killashee. www.kildare.ie/library/ehistory/2006/07/post_7.asp

Lieutenant. R.S.T. Moore, 12th Lancers, the only son of Colonel and Mrs. St. Leger Moore, was killed in action during WWI in 1914. http://tinyurl.com/5txwht

Hello a moore,
Did the marriage of Jane and Samuel take place in Co. Kildare. Huh

The only Lightbodys listed in Griffith's Primary Valuations are in Antrim, Armagh and Down.

One of them is Hugh W. Lightbody of Ballynahinch.
