Please does anyone one have access to the BMD index for 1970 if so could they please look up the following for me, for a friend

we are looking for a death in November 1970 in Stockport with the surname of LOVATT who died at birth..
the gro ref number and hopefully a first name and anyother info

Is it possiable for a death not to be registered if it was a still birth, but a twin and the other survived
