Just confirming:
Snasdell Sydell father of Hannah 
Hannah Sydell (do we know her maiden name Huh) mother of Hannah
Hannah baptised 12 Nov 1817 Elm, Cams  - she married Robert Barnard
Eliza sister baptised 3 May 1812
Susannah born baptised 16 May 1823 St Peters, Wisbeach
William born c 1826

Can we go further back or am I pushing things too fast!

   Well   It is an unusal name and I have googled it to see if it comes up but it is other site that have his name as listings that we have here.

   I would think that his father a Sydell married a Snasdell as the name in various spellings can be seen around Cambridgeshire  a few in Essex  and some in Kent  the biggest group is Norfolk.

  He stated not born in county in 1841 while living in Cambridgeshire ...so Norfolk may be a place to look for him earlier. I will see what's available.
