Help - William McIntyre (b.c1843)
« on: Thursday 01 May 08 08:08 UTC (UK) »

I am looking to trace my Willam McINTYRE but have little to go on...

William was born in c1843 in Ireland and moved to Liverpool, England at some point in the latter half of the 1800s. He married Mary Traynor, from Tipperary, in Liverpool and had children, William and John Traynor.

On the 1881 census, his birthplace is listed as Merive (sp?), Ireland. (it is possible that Merive is not the correct spelling looking at the original document on Ancestry)

I am stumped as to where to start my search for William and would appreciate help from anyone who can decipher his birth location from the census or track down a recording of his birth details/parents...

Any ideas welcome!
Susie
