Looking for siblings Sidney Thomas Reeve born 1877 and Ernest james Reeve born 1870, Edwin P Reeve born 1874 and Florence Reeve born 1872 - all on Chelmsford register - looking for them in 1881 with parents.

1881 census is free to search either on familysearch.org. or on ancestry.

In case you are in any doubt about the children being on the Chelmsford register & shown in the census as being born in Little Waltham/Waltham.   Little & Great Waltham are just to the north of Chelmsford.

Thank you all - that is wonderful! The 1871 confirms the entry as correct as the lodger has the surname to make the link!  Thank you all!!

I have now found the marriage of James Reeve to Margaret Milbank in 1866 - all makes sense! Margaret had a sister martha - who was my gt grandmother!

The Milbank family are at RG9 1113 142 6 in 1861 - quite a lot of them including Margaret, Martha and the William

Thank you but I have the Census lists back to 1841 as I was tracing my gt grandmother Martha Milbank - I have recently aquired her birthday book and was curious as to the several entries for people with the surname Reeve - I have now established they were related through her sister margaret - but thank you indeed for all your help.

Where was your Martha Milbank born? I've got loads of Milbanks on my tree and have done lots of research on the surname.
