Hello, 

Can someone please tell me the location of 9 Wellington Street, Westminster in the 1861 census?
It seems to go from RG9/178/149/page 4 to 150/page 13. I think they have the wrong folio 150. (This was on Ancestry). Have looked in Precinct of Savoy and St Paul Covent Garden, can't find the part of Wellington St in between though - St Michael Burleigh St ecclesiastical parish.

Doesn't seem to be there on FMP either, goes from No.6 to N. 15  Huh

Hello, Ed,

The answer lies, I'm afraid, in that, according to the Street Index for Wellington St, RG9/178  shows that house nos 7 - 13 are missing from the ED10.

Which is why there is a big gap showing torn pages.

Frustating, isn't it ?

Hello,  Thanks for checking that folks. Same as Kensington in 1841 then , the bit I want is missing too (Edwardes Square).  Sad
