Hi,

On the 1861 census there is an Elizabeth Eyers aged 18 born Ardwick, Lancashire living as a boarder with a Morley Family. They are at 32 Poplar Street, Ardwick, Manchester, she is a Cotton Dubler?? I think.  Ref: RG9/2871 folio 36 page 17.

I don't know if this is your Elizabeth Jane with the surname spelt slightly differently or not.  I have been unable to find the rest of the family.

Cheers

Hi Magrat,
Thanks for that.
Elizabeth Jane gives her address as 38 Poplar Street, a Doubler on her marriage 27th July 1861, so I think you have found her.

Sorry to take so long to reply, I have just got back from holiday.

Much appreciated
