The other Christening is ..
Birth, 1st, March 1809 Christening, 7th, May 1809 Elisabeth Bullock Parents, William and Elizabeth Northumberland Ovingham
I wonder if William and Elizabeth are on the 1841?
I'm not too sure, I know wozzle gave the 1841 details for the initial enquiry .. but I would think he included these ..

She was still alive in 1881 and her birthplace is .. as Alison first stated Newcastle on Tyne, William at this point had died ..
Three decades and three differing birthplaces!

Nearest in Ovingham was one in 1822 - I think that might be a bit late.

There are quite a few on the IGI for Newcastle/Longbenton, etc. Jane Brown is not that easy without any real clues
If someone could look at that marriage record, it might give her father's name.

Hi Pels & Gadget
Firstly thank you for your Help thats Brilliant
My father in-law was wondering where his father got the name James Newton Bullock from and as you mentioned Elizabeth newton it is all fitting into place nicely he will be thrilled.
He lost his dad mum & sister all within a matter of months back in 1950 so he has never been able to find out any infmation about where the family originally came from except that his father came from Northumberland but he didn't know about the Durham connection.
Kindest regards Alison
