As they were married in Montreal, Quebec, you can search for them in the directories.

Lovell's Directory - Montreal
http://bibnum2.bnquebec.ca/bna/lovell/index.html

On the left side of the page you will see:

Présentation
Mode d'emploi

Annuaires Lovell

Montréal et sa banlieue

Série principale (1842-1977) click on this link. The directories are in English

Série Criss-cross (1974-1999)

Banlieues

Laval (1958-1968)

Rive-Sud (1956-1966)

Série Criss-cross (1962-1974)

After that, look up the name in the "Alphabetical" section.

I don't know how popular the name "Louis Wilbrod Larin" is in Quebec, but here are some links for research on an "older" Louis.

Now I'm guessing at the 1911 Census for him.

and again with 1901 Census

Hello there,

Great to see that you now have Daisy's marriage. I'm really pleased for you!

Here is the baptism for Lewis from the Drouin Collection.....it is in French

Louis Wilbrod Larin
baptized 9 Sep 1881 (I don't see a birth date)
f. Wilbrod Larin
m. Marguerite Mulligan
Montreal, Basilique Notre-Dame, Catholic

I haven't found any children baptized in the Presbyterian faith so far. There are a number of Larin baptisms to troll through for the Catholic faith in case they reverted back to that faith although the window for any births is not great given Daisy's age at the marriage. Bear in mind that the index for the Drouin Collection is not yet complete and a child may turn up at a later date.

I haven't seen a death for either of them in the Droiun Collection index so far but it only goes up to 1941. I didn't find them in the index for the Protestant Mount Royal Cemetery. There is a Margaret Larin and several Louis' in the data base for the Catholic Cote des Neiges Cemetery but I can't figure out how to operate the data base to find out any information.....maybe some else knows how their system works?

Regards,
Polarbear

Hi again,

Louis is their legitimate son and they would have been married. Quebec records always have the mother down with her maiden name. Even today in Quebec, if a married woman goes into the hospital, for example, she would be there under her maiden name.

If you hit the name you will see to whom the woman was married, so that isn't hers. That was a great idea, but for a true cross reference, they should have done the same for the husband Roll Eyes Roll Eyes also it is a locator, to show their internment location numbers...no dates of death are on there...Unless I am missing something as well?

Beg pardon, the date IS on there...Now date d'accueil  would give you the date of internment I guess

Could you please go and link this to those other threads, and then back again, so as not to have duplication of resources?

Hello

To add birthday for Louis Wilbrod Larin. He was born September 8th, i.e. né la veille, - born the evening before. ex. Christmas eve = veille de Noël.
