John JOHNSON - Cockermouth

Can anyone help me trace the above John JOHNSON.

He was born in Cockermouth about 1812 baptised November 22nd 1812.

He married Mary Ann Bowling, b abt. 1808 .  We cannot find this marriage, so if anyone has come across this marriage could they please let me know.

The marriage possibly took place in Ashton and Oldham, Sub Dist of Hartshead, Lancaster as this was where one of their sons Cornelius was born in 1842.

Mary Ann Johnson died in 1880, Ashton Under Lyme, Sub Dist Hartshead, aged 77.

I would be grateful if anyone could help me with this marriage.

If it's the marriage you're really after at the moment, it might be wirth asking to have this moved to the Lancashire board, where Oldham is.

I don't think I've seen it there and I've checked again now.
