area query/gnosall knightly

hello,can anyone with local knowledge please help?i am searching a joseph brough,on the 1891,he is listed as being born gnosall,i have found a joseph brough on the 1881,he is listed as being born knightly,are these 2 areas close enough to be the one and same joseph? Huh Huh Huh

This is one of them

Newport
Created 1st July 1837. Mainly in Shropshire, but included parts of Staffordshire.
Sub-districts : Gnosall; Newport.
GRO volumes : XVIII (1837-51); 6a (1852-1930).
Adbaston, Forton, Gnosall, High Offley, Newbury, Weston Jones.
Registers now divided between Telford & Wrekin and Stafford districts.

Searched the page for Knightly but it didn't come up with anything...
