The website for Essex Record Office (google SEAX) has the registers for one of the oldest Chelmsford parishes on line. If you log on to website as a guest, enter 'Chelmsford registers' in the image search box, select 'D/P 94/1/11' you will find the marriage entry on image 59

That's wonderful. I thought you might have been disappointed by the little that the marriage record would have given you. But I'm glad you found Eldorado when you looked at the baptisms. If you can't find the Moulsham registers online have a go at putting a look-up for the one you're missing.

Hi Jane,
Glad you mentioned the problem you had with the SEAX system, I had the same problem and thought there was a glitch in my system, I had recently updated Microsoft Office 2001 to 2003 and of course thought the updating caused the problem
I would be interested to hear of your solution, mine was to save the image and then enlarge it from where I had saved it. There no doubt is a smarter and easier ( but more technical) way of doing it but being of a simple mind that is what I came up with. I note that when I open it from the saved image, a button appears in the bottom left hand corner of the image which when clicked enlarges the image, I couldn't get that button to appear on the image prior to saving it, maddening
Hi Clincher.
Regards.

Hi Clincher, No, the marriage details didn't give me the information I needed, it was the baptism's that happened to have an index, so I made a note of all the Bravery names & went & had a look...BINGO...only it didn't have a Henry Bravery baptised about 1775 that I was really looking for Vis a Vis the marriage; can you pull up the image & see if you can read what it says after Mary Vincent's name, I can't make it out On my exploration of Essex yesterday I found that Moulsham did indeed (& still has) a water mill but didn't have its own church until much later so any events for that time frame would have been conducted at St. Mary the Virgin.
Findem. Enlarge image 1 from your search. Then at the top of that page there is another drop-down menu with the images listed, 1, 2, 3 etc. Use this to trawl through the pages, each image will come up enlarged
