Samuel Bland, born c1745, Hamsterley by Bishop Auckland, married Rachel Littlefare, 12th May 1767, Kirkby Ravensworth.

Can anyone find any parents for him please?

My Blands seem to have spent their time drifting back and forth over the Durham/N. Yorks border. Samuel's son, Ralph, born in Cockfield, married Elizabeth Thornbury in Bedale. Now I have Samuel, born in Hamsterley and marrying in Kirkby Ravensworth. And it would seem that the person he married, in Yorkshire, was herself born in Cockfield. I do wish they'd stood still for a minute!
