Hi Ken,
Any ideas where in Gloucestershire she might be?
In 1851 there is a 32 yr old Ann Gosling in Kempsford, married to Henry. Any idea of kids names? Hubby's name? Place of birth? Let me know if you want the full details of this one....

Hi many thanks for coming back to me. All I have is a name present at death M Ann Gosling on the death certificate of Jacob Hares died 1864 in Bristol.
I am hoping that this might be my long lost great great aunt Mary Ann Wilson. Baptised St Andrew's Banwell. 1817
Jacob was married to Amelia (Wilson) Hares they came to Bristol 1853. I have a great deal of info on them, but I am hoping M Ann might be the lost aunt
Warm Regards Ken

hmmmmm Ken, I can't see any obvious Wilson~Gosling marriages....
Does it not say M Ann's relation to the deceased on the death cert? Was M Ann a second wife to Jacob? Where was Amelia in 1864? Have you got Mary Ann Wilson on any censuses?
Is Banwell in Gloucestershire? (My geography isn't great!!!)
Sorry for all the questions!!!

Hello lovely legs. Banwell is in Somerset, close to Weston Super Mare. Amelia did not die until 1911 here in Bristol. M Ann Gosling as certainly not married to Jacob Hares. Could well be a red herring , it is the only sighting I have had of a M Ann perhaps I am grasping at straws.
I have been searching for Mary Ann Wilson baptised Banwell 1817 for some time. To my knowledge she is not on the 1841 census so she has either Died, Married or Emigrated. the family was in Wells Somerset 1820 as Elizabeth Wilson was baptised in 1820 at St. Cuthbert's.. !822 Hurst Batch Wookey Back in Banwell 1833 as her younger sister Amelia was baptised at the Wesleyan Chapel 1833/34.
No sign of her on 1841 census. Family living at Rickford Somerset (Nr Blagden Som.)
