Alfred & Ann's son William HADDOCK was born 1894 in Lostock Gralam and married Eliza FARR in 1916 and I'm wondering if there are any descendants out there?

Perhaps a burial for William or Eliza can be found - all I know is that he was still alive as of 1965.

Thanks!

Ada HADDOCK, Alfred & Ann's daughter, was born abt 1899 [ I CANNOT find a birth listing with her 1901 Census name].

Ada married Jame LAMB 1916 in St John, Lostock Gralam and I'm hoping to trace any descendants OR to find their burial dates.

Thanks!

Thomas HADDOCK, s/o Alfred & Ann, was born abt 1912 in Lostock G and married Nancy MADDOCK .... they had at least 2 daughters.

Thomas died Mar 7th 1965 in Rudheath and his wife Nancy died Apr 13 1981.

This is what I have for burials for this HADDOCK family at St John's, Lostock G =

Burials at St John the Evangelist Lostock Gralam

Alfred   Haddock   11 School Lane   Feb 25 1919   March 1 1919   58 (57)   Husband of Hannah (Ann) Haddock nee Bond
Ann   Haddock      January 5 1949      79   nee Bond Widow of Alfred Haddock   B 81
Alfred   Haddock      February 8 1970      74   Son of Alfred & Ann Haddock   B 81
Thomas   Haddock      March 7 1965      53   Husband of Nancy Haddock   E 8/9
Nancy   Haddock      April 13 1981      66   Widow of Thomas Haddock   E 8/9

Any help in either photographs of their graves or info on the descendants of Thomas HADDOCK & Nancy MADDOCK would be most appreciated.

My most interesting question springing from this burial info, is why Ann HADDOCK was not the informant for her husband's death?  Instead, Alfred's sister-in-law, Mary HADDOCK, "in attendance" was the informant and her address is given as 44 Waterloo Road, Northwich.

At this point in time, I cannot even figure out which of Alfred's brothers married a Mary?

Hopefully more questions = more answers  Smiley

Regards,
dalj

Hi Dalj,
I have Alfred HADDOCK and Martha Ann DICKENSON in my tree.  I think they came via a HADDOCK cousin in the USA.  Alfred is a third cousin 4 times removed, and I have our common HADDOCK ancestry back to my 12th great-grandfather - Richard HAYDOCKE b.1538 in Chorley, Lancashire.

I didn't have a second marriage for Alfred, and have followed this string with interest.  Would you like to swap information?  I can also put you in touch with my American HADDOCK cousin whose family have done all the research past my 4th great grandfather!

Cheers,
Garry

Hi Garry,

I've got my HADDOCK ancestry back to a Francis HAYDOCKE b abt 1538 in Chorley, Lancashire.  I wonder if either of us has his 1st name down incorrectly?  It could be me ...

I'm not at present sharing all the detail I have about Alfred HADDOCK's families until I have made contact with a living descendant of his 2nd marriage, which I'm sure you can appreciate.

Which of Gilbert HADDOCK and Mary SCHOLES son's are you descended from?  I'm descended from Gilbert HADDOCK & Mary NUTTALL and I've been in contact with the USA G HADDOCK that you refer to ....

Look forward to hearing from you and feel free to send me a private message if you want Shocked)

Hi Dalj,
sounds like we have the same ancestry information from the same source.  The names you quote are all in my tree, I have proven links down from Gilbert HADDOCK and Mary SCHOLES to Thomas HADDOCK - Ann PRESTWICH, James HADDOCK - Mary BREATHERD, James HADDOCK - Catherine JOHNSON, Robert HADDOCK - Betsy THOMASON, then their daughter Mary HADDOCK.

I'll send you a PM to tell you more....

Cheers,
Garry
