ELLERBY, 1871 and 1891
« on: Tuesday 06 May 08 20:30 BST (UK) »

Hi:

I'm looking for Ralph ELLERBY b 1820 in South Shields, sailmaker, in the 1871 census, with wife Sarah b 1839 in Essex, and son Oscar born 1865 in South Shields.

By 1881 Ralph is a widow and I believe Oscar dies in 1893.  Can anyone find the two of them in 1891?  In 1881 they are living in South Shields.

Thank you, Linda

Hi again Linda,

This was bothering me .. I didn't want you to think I'd written
Essex, Bradford as a typing error ..

And also the address from 1871 ..

I am fairly certain now .. it was Soulsbys Yd.

Kind regards,

Pels.  Smiley

Thanks again, Linda
