Hi
I am trying to find a little history on my greatgrandfather John Lowe who was born in Edinburgh in 1884 and moved to Glasgow around 1910 -1913, maybe a bit later,with his family and became an Orchestral Musician. I have no idea where or what he played, it just states Orchestral Musician on his death registration when he died of TB in 1927. Could anyone shed any light on Orchestras in Glasgow at that time. I know it's a shot in the dark but anything would be appreciated.
