if the nephew was Walter scott .
maybe this would point to the three sisters  I'm using that loosely 
having a brother, i.e the father of Walter Scott

I think that in 1881, Catherine Gilbody is erroneously described as sister.
looking at the original, there is a marking between her and the Parfitt family above, indicating to me a different household, albeit at he same address.

Interesting, true - they and the Lodgers have been allocated seperate Schedules numbers for enumeration - but seem to have been considered in relation to the Head of the main household .....
Maybe if we could find Walter b1858 with certainty in 1861, the 'brother' would be revealed ?
maybe we have to go back to 1841 St Lukes ?

I think the term "Lodgers" is sometimes used for visitors. I've often found what I know are relatives, listed as lodgers, visitors, servants etc.
