Hello there!
I have consistently failed to find the burial of one ancestor in Sunderland between 1812 and 1841.
His name was George Miller, and I have recently found what might be his baptism in a Catholic chapel in Yorkshire, so I am wondering if he might have been buried as a Catholic as well (even though his whole family was brouight up as Anglican).
Could someone tell me which Catholic churches existed in Sunderland and Bishopwearmouth at that time? Do the records still exist?
Many thanks
Ashley
