I am having problems with my Tonbridge Corkes and would appreciate any help available. Robert Corke (born 1798) married Maria. I believe his parents were William and Sarah, but I'm otherwise stuck. I spent a whole day in Tonbridge library where a researcher has done a lot of work on this family but I couldn't link mine in.

It does?  Undecided I've looked many times and not found that. What date and surname does it give?

The info that is on the IGI is as follows:-

I don't know if any of this is right!
Robert's birth 19/8/1797 it gives a death of June 1881 married Maria Tbc - I don't know what that surname means I couldn't find a marriage date. It gives Robert's parents  as William born abt 1770 and Sarah abt 1777 both in Tonbridge. Sorry I couldn't find anything else. Poppyann

This is lifted straight off an entry at Ancestry.com and is a "submitted" entry.

TBC means To Be Confirmed. In other words, the submitter has no actual info about the marriage at all. Unfortunately the IGI is full of these submitted entries, and the nicest thing that can be said about them is "caveat emptor".
