help please, i've found my grandparents marriage certificte donald michael smith & martha millar in glengarry in 1897, i can trace my grans family but not my grandads, according to records his residence was railway huts in glengarry, i've tried the b.m.d and census but with no luck, his parents were donald michael smith & jessie smith any ideas how to move forward?

Hello again,

Can you confirm that the maiden surname of Jessie was Smith? or was this her married name.  On Donald Michael Smiths marriage cert it'd give parent s names as Donald Michael Smith  and Jessie Smith and then M.S xxxxxx  (indicating maiden surname).
