Disconnecting all the time, why? SOLVED

Hi,

I have a lap top (about 6 years old) and use Outlook Express to deal with emails (I work from home); I'm on a dial-up connection.

Every time I  "send/receive" it disconnects from the internet !   How do I stop this?

It was working without any problems this morning.........grrr  Sad
