Have traced my Hastie side of the family back to 1811 Tweedmouth. Cannot go beyond that.
James Hastie was b 1811 Tweedmouth and married Rachel (maybe) Clark. I have searched records and can`t find their marriage.
Just recently i came across the following Hasties from Tweedmouth.
Alexander christened 16.08.1738 Tweedmouth.
John Hasty b 1749                                 "
Is there a connection as these are the only ones from Tweedmouth?
Can anyone help me with my search?
