Question on the numbering of MI
«

I have been looking for the Ker family...Chirnside...and in the MI there are three in Chirnside and all numbered consecutively. Would this indicate that the plots were near one another and possibly related?
Thank you.

Hi Sharon
The graves will be next to each other, but whether the people were related I don't know.

Thank you again...did people purchase grave sites in the 1700s?
