On Ancestry complete index's there is a Minnie H aged 83 died March q 1854 reg Hendon 5e - 608
Does this age fit If not when was she born
Thats the nearest to Hertfordshire I can see.

You can search BMD records (the scans) on Ancestry for free, but you have to register with an e-mail address first.
I've looked through 53 & 54 and, as Patrish says, there's nothing from Herts. Dec qtr 54 Minne aged 65 in Croydon is another near one.

Minnie Hiller and a Charles William Wilson is on the list.
possible birth
June 1891 Newcastle T 10b/36
Would these be her?
obviously it doesn't seem so

So that would make her about 68 ish in 1953/5
So my first find must be wrong 
I have checked 1952 and 1955.... cant see one that fits.
Are you sure she died around that time
