unable to post a photo
« on: Saturday 10 May 08 22:02 UTC (UK) »

Hi to all the restorers out there,

Can anyone please help me.  I have tried lots of  times to send a photo for restoration without success.
When I post, I get a message back saying :

An error has occurred.  Sorry, there is already an attachment with the same file name as the
one you tried to upload.  Please rename the file and try again.

Which I have done.  What am I doing wrong. ??

Help,
Linda

Rename the file you wish to upload. That's all.

Rename it with a file name that isn't likely to have been used already. Calling it "Grandpa" ain't gonna fly...calling it "Grandpa_1880-1951_Halifax1" is much better.

Cheers,

Pauline J & Chinakay,

Thankyou for your replies but........  its still not working.

What /where is the FILE NAME ? that I need to change.

I have changed the SUBJECT  quite a few times to read thing like : mum and auntie
:Lydia & Susan need a makeover

I recon you can already guess, that I am very new to all this, and its certainly taking me a lot of time to learn.

Linda.
