I am wondering if anyone can help with lookup to find
burials of my Poad family in Bristol area.
I am looking for Poad burials in general.
which include the following family
Elen Poad b 1836 d abt 1840 Bristol
Alfred Poad b 1838 d 1 March 1841 St James, Bristol
Edward Poad b 1841 d 7 Sept 1841 St James, Bristol
Edward Poad b 1845 d 28 FEb 1909 243 Stapleton Road, Bristol
Alfred Claude Poad b 1849 d 18 May 1930 16B Kingsdown Pde, Bristol
Benjamin Poad b 1804 d 21 Nov 1885 Mary Street, Stapleton Road, Bristol
Sarah Poad b 1807 d 26 Nov 1885 Barton Regis, Mary St, Stapleton Rd, Bristol
I am in Australia and don't know where to start looking with this
so any information or suggestions would be great. Thanks.

The starting place for any birth, marriage or death research for post June 1837 is http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl
The registration of deaths was probably done more often than for births until the latter became the responsibility of parents with a fine for non-registration (in about 1875 I think - but my memory!!). Prior to that the responsibility for finding out about births was the registrar's.
But you have not really said what in particular you are hoping for.

There is no burial information for any GLS Poad according to the 2nd edition of the NBI.
