Marriage/Mary Bone, James Bell/abt. 1855

Mary Bone was born Dec 31, 1824 in Hoddam, Dumfries, Scotland, daughter of David Bone (Boan) and Janet Brown. Later, she emigrated to Canada. I am not sure if her marriage to James Bell was in Scotland or Canada. However, i have not found it in Canada.  They had a daughter Jessy in 1856, not sure if Canada or Scotland.
I would dearly appreciate details of this marriage as it would solve a lot of puzzles.

HI Peggy

I've checked the Dumfries marriage records 1840 -1856 but don't see a marriage. The Janet Bell's listed for b. 1856 have different parents. No Jessies but Jessie was the alternative/pet name for Janet.
