...so many "trees" - what's a dog to do!
|
Hi, all!
Can anyone help me with a possible marriage between John ATKINSON and Isobel THOMPSON c.1775, Hayton by Brampton?
I have a number of children listed from 1779 to 1798 (from IGI, extracted records), all born in that locality, with the same parents.
However, the only marriage for these names appears to occur in 1751, in Workington, which is too early and appears to differ geographically - also it is a submitted record, so may be erroneous!
Can anyone help?

....and following on from my previous post - could anyone shed light on a marriage between Elizabeth ATKINSON and Thomas BULMAN, 1803, Ainstable. Is there any indication of parentage from the parish registers for this?
