Hi  ,
Im looking for any infromation on a Edward H Larramen he was born in 1830 in "Whitstable Kent". I think he moved around alot when he was older as he was a sea captian. Any infro on his mother or father and any brothers and sister would be great. He had a daughter called Agnes Larramen born 1879, agnes married Henry Ware who is my 2x great granddad.

I'm struggling with this one. 
I bet this is a name that has many variants.
There is a LARAMAN? family living West side of Abbey Street, Faversham in 1841

Hi,
Just been looking on the cenus for 1861 and at the time Edward was on the Mayflower Ship, is there anyway of looking up records for the Mayflower.

Interestingly the Mayflower entry for 1861 the name has been amended from Edward R Jarraman to Edward R Larraman.
This is the note that the person that made the amendment has added
"The first letter of this surname has been mis-transcribed. It should be Larraman, not Jarraman. An alternative correct spelling of this surname is Larriman, frequently found in Whitstable where this person was born."
I have sent them a message via Ancestry and asked them to look at this post with a view to contacting you.

The 1851 census has many of the LARAMANS transcribed as SARAMAN
Many were born in Seasalter (or mistranscriptions of).
I'm still looking for these in 1841.
