Based around Durham and Northumberland from 1770's to 1850's

John Ormston born 1774 m Sarah Miller born 1778

Johns father William Ormston B 1731 m Jane Davison b 1738

Sarah Millers Parents Richard Miller c1745 Barnard Castle. m Sarah Waite Barnard Castle.

William Ormston my relative b c 1827 died 1890 m Isabella Hall b1838

My Ormstons go back to John Ormston(e) b1705, Up to Isabella Ormston born in Newcastle upon Tune in approx 1831 who married Robert Knight. Let me know which Ormstons are in your tree and if you recognise any of these.

Hello Lynn,    i go back to William Ormston born 1731 Newcastle upon Tyne, his wife Jane Davison born 1738 Newcastle upon Tyne. I haven`t an Isabella as yet as i keep going from one family to another to try and keep up with them all as i have got that many. I shall keep you informed if i get your names, okay.  Regards Gladys. Hi Lyn and Gladys,

I am related through, William Ormston and Jane Davison. Their son John and Sarah Miller had many children one of them Thomas, who had a son William m to Isabella Hall my GG Grandparents. I have all of Johns Children if that is of any help to you.

Hello Celia,   thanks very much for that info, we are on genesreunited and have been in touch with each other,  Lynn is also on there. I will have to write out where i come in on the Ormston`s at some point.  I have that many contacts and its hard to keep up with them all so i just take my time, i get there in the end.     Regards Gladys.
