I'm researching the Dobson family of Marlborough. I have lots of info. on them but would like to know more about the descendants of Thomas (b1854) & Louisa Dobson. I have them on all censuses inc. the 1901 when they lived in Barn Street. Thomas was the Parish Clerk for St Mary's from around the 1890s.
If anyone else is reseaching this family please get in touch.

Wright (West Ham, Stratford, St Lukes, Cripplegate, Edmonton, Tottenham, Romford, Hendon, Brighton) Swain (Cripplegate, St Lukes) Wolfe (Cripplegate, Shoreditch) Willis (Gt. Leighs, Margaretting, Gt. Waltham) Rawles (Bethnal Green) Cook (Rochford)
I have Dobsons/Dopsons from about 1760 and living in Fyfield Wiltshire which is fairly close to Marlborough.
William Dopson (the name seems pretty interchangeable!) died in Marlborough and his wife. Do you know if they were always in Marlborough ie. before the birth of Thomas in 1854?
I don't think there's a connection as I haven't come across any of my Dobsons in Fyfield. The parents of my Thomas b1854 were James & Harriet. I think James was born in Savernake - before that I'm not certain where they came from.
