Parish Church for South Ruislip
« on: Wednesday 14 May 08 19:33 BST (UK) »

Hello!  I am wondering of St Mary's in South Ruislip is still an active Church.  I have tried to contact them through their "website" link without response, and I have written two letters to them as well, again with no response.  What I am after is my uncles' christening records.  The family lived at 79 Harltland Drive, and I think St Mary's is where my Grandmother went to church (when she went, LOL).  Because I haven't had any response from them (I've been trying for over a year), I'm wondering if it isn't an active church anymore and I'm barking up the wrong tree...

Any help would be appreciated, and thank you inadvance  Grin

Hi Caliope

Yes it is still active, go past it several times a week, it's got a bright green copper roof. It's quite a 'new' church though, and I don't know where their records are.

If you send me a pm with the names and dates, I'll go round and knock on the door.
