I have got John and Martha Vawdrey from 1861 to 1871.
All census name him as John, but I `m sure he should be Jehu, and the census clerk has transcribed it wrong.
On Free Bmd , again it`s Martha Twemlow and John, married 1853 Dec qtr at St Marys Sandbach.
Is anyone able to find this marriage for me, his father should be Peter, a carpenter, and Jehu was born c 1831 and could be in the silk trade.

If you put Peter Vawdrey in the father box, and Elizabeth in the mother box, followed by event - birth/christening; region - British Isles; country - England; county - Cheshire, there is a whole list of names to sort through.
Peter Vawdrey sen b 1756, f Peter, m Elizabeth Arrowsmith
Apologies if you know how to sort out the IGI. (took me ages!)
The submitted entries can be very 'iffy', sometimes very imaginative, not to be relied on.
