Hi everyone
I have no idea if I am asking the impossible here. I have just received this emailed copy of Alice Tebbs from a newly discovered relative in New Zealand.
It would be nice to see it clearer if possible.
Alice was born in 1881 and she is the niece of Sarah Tebbs/Payne of a previous posting.
I do not know what the quality or size of the posting will be, but any advice on improvement welcome.

Having seen the photo, I can tell it is not good!!!!
The thing is the emailed photograph would not post as it was too big, so I had to copy the photograph and post it in Picassa to reduce it. Is there any other way I can reduce the photo from the email. I do not have any other applications.

Was the picture this unclear in the original message? If so there is not a lot you can do, if it is better then you are in luck. If you cannot reduce it yourself, then PM one of us and we can do it for you. I am at work at present, but can help you tonight if no-one else has. Just PM me if needed

Could not resist having a quick look before going out for the day...that is wonderful, I cannot believe the improvement.I never cease to be amazed at what can be achieved by you clever people.
What a lovely dress, do you think that is a choker she is wearing or is it the neckline of the dress I wonder?

Ps the original pic that I received was blurred ( Look at the eyes ....as if there has been camera shake either at the time of the photo or by the person who has scanned or taken a photo of the photo; the latter being the more likely as the mount is also blurred.

I never thought about that, I just assumed that it was a scan of the original, but I can see that the face is blurred, anyway you have done a great job for me in spite of this.

Thank you Irene, I realise that this was not an easy picture to work on..I just wish I had the original.
It certainly is a vast improvement on my original posting, you and Poll have worked wonders!!
I wonder how they got their hair into that style?
