PEOPLE with ancestors who worked on the railways can access expert help in finding out about their family members.
The Centre for Local Studies at Darlington’s Crown Street Library has teamed up with the Ken Hoole Study Centre at the Head of Steam to provide three sessions when people can speak to staff and obtain free advice on how they can find out more about family members who worked on the railways. Sessions will take place from 10am to noon on: • Saturday May 17 at the Centre for Local Studies, Crown Street Library • Thursday June 12 at the Ken Hoole Study Centre, Head of Steam • Saturday July 26 at the Centre for Local Studies, Crown Street Library.
