Thank you so much for the info and sorting out the Harris's and their birthplaces. (It seems to be a family failing, my huband's grandfather Ernest Harris was born in Northampton, and the Enumerator has stamped Northampton for the birthplaces of the whole family, when half of them were born in Middx. Either the Harris's were confused or the Enumerator got carried away.)
It's fantastic to have some of the Cornelius family too...so thank you both for all your hard work. I have scribbled everything down and am looking forward to putting it all together this evening

i cant see any sign of the cornelus family in 1851 they are certainley not in chard but i do see them in 1841-
living in ilminster somerset

William Head M 77 Chimney Sweeper B. Devon, Sampford
Elizabeth Wife M 71 B. Devon, Axminster
Henry Son 15 ~ ~ B. Chard
in 1861 Henry was down as grandson.
William was a sweep in 1861 also.
In 1871 Elizabeth is living with John - as previously mentioned in post above.

It is a bit confusing Patrish!
In 1871 - when Elizabeth was living with John, she said 83 years.
That would make her born 1788, which is the year Bev. was given, and if this is them in 1851 and 1861 - which we don't know - then her age would be about right -1788 / 1790 / 1791.
However, the William in this pair was apparenty born 1784, which is 14 years younger than Bev. has the age
