Hi Smiley,

       Hi I'm looking for some more infromation on a Elizabeth.m.Lambert, who was my great   grandmother on my mums side, the only infro I have is when she was married which was 1904 in Croydon surrey, she married an alfred ware and there divorced later on and Alfred married a Ethel waller his second wife in 1926.  What I would like to now is what happened to Elizabeth after this, wheater she married again or if she had more children etc.

freebmd.rootsweb.com shows the marriage, with her as Elizabeth Lambert, no middle name. (Do you have the marriage certificate?)

I can't find any record of a divorce in the J 77 section of the NA catalogue (www.nationalarchives.gov.uk).

Do you know how long Alfred and Elizabeth were together? - how many children did they have, what is the last time you have info on her.

Because she might have used the last name Lambert, Ware, or something else entirely, it would be worth first trying to track her back to her parents and siblings, and then see if you can trace any of the siblings forward (if she had any).
