Looking for BERNAL...
« on: Tuesday 18 January 05 20:36 UTC (UK) »

I'm trying to get some information about the BERNAL family, recently (and currently?) from Nenagh, but also with a family connection to Limerick - there's a family grave in Limerick cathedral from what I remember from visits as a child.

Does anyone know anything about them? Even better, does anyone have access to the records of Limerick cathedral?

I've posted this both on the Limerick board and the Tipperary board...

Thanks

Think we are researching the same Bernal Family.  Jacob de Isaac Hiam Genese ak John Genese Bernal m Catherine Carroll/O'Carroll in 1841 Dublin. Parts of the family certainly were in the Nenagh area.
Their children were
Emily Bernal m Phaff
Frances Bernal
Katherine Genese Bernal m  O’Donovan
Patrick Bernal
Esther Genese Bernal
John Genese Bernal
Dr John Genese Bernal
Mary Gertrude Tobsy Genese Bernal m Ryan
Grace Bernal
Margaret Josephine Bernal m Rigg Miller
Samuel George Bernal m Miller
