Years ago, I knew a Fire Sprinkler Engineer by the name of John Flood.

Totally Off (jobs) Topic:
Me (Bill Rose) and my friend at school, (Tony Lilley) were called the 'flower pot men' after the BBC, 'watch with mother' programme,  also in our class was a chap called Reid, who spoke like Jonathon Ross, we all called him Weeed! All very cruel, and True.

On an equally cruel note, I have heard that because of the heavy French contingent at Arsenal, the assistant manager Pat Rice, is affectionately known as Patrice.
