A date, clean up and colour please.
« on: Thursday 15 May 08 21:38 BST (UK) »

Can you work your usual magic on this lovely lady please? This is another from the Bryo and Cazza59 photo collection and it would be a bonus if someone could date it. Thank you in anticipation.

Bryo.

Hi Bryo

What an absolutely gorgeous photo  Smiley  You and Caz are so lucky to have them.  If my eyes hold out, I might have a go at this one.

My first thought on the date is late 1880s/very early 1890s.

Hi Bryo,

I'll start everyone off before I go to bed.

A great photo - I'll bet you get a lot of takers for this.

What a great photo Bryo.

Pretty useless at dates but here's another tidy up
for your growing collection.

Rog, Iria, Carolyn, Skippy, Margaret.

Thank you so much for taking the time in restoring this photo. Absolutely beautiful!!!!

China,
There is nothing on the back to give me a clue about this lady. I have a another photo that appears to have been taken at the same time as this one so I will post that in a week or so.

Thanks everyone.

Hi Bryo
As there are so many brilliant colourings, here are 3 mono variations (orig / b&W / sepia)

I don't know... But the picture in the Topic you have referenced was tentatively given as 1913ish. If this one is 1890ish then it's one generation back. Possibly mum and daughter? I'll check a few dates as this has given me an idea to who they could be.

oops  Embarrassed Embarrassed I never noticed that! But as soon as I saw the photo I had the feeling I had seen the lady before! Definitely a strong family resemblance between them  Grin
