Please could you tell me the name of the street next to Albert Street. Enlarging it doesn't seem to help.

Thank you. It makes sense Princes Street near Albert Street. My cousin lived in Bedford but couldn't recall Princes Street.

On Multimap Princes Street is listed but the street name not shown. It must have been, or be, between Wellington Street and Foster Street.

On Multimap Princes Street is listed but the street name not shown.

Here's portion of a map of Bedford dated October 1911 with those street names. from the 1913 publication Bedford Town & Bedford Schools.

Hi John

Thank you very much for the Map. I have so many questions about my Bedfordshire ancestors.

I have decided to join the Beds Family History Society. I have quite a few Beds names in my tree. Looking at the Names the only match I have at present is Medlock. In 1871 my GGGgrandmother was recorded as being a Midwife in Cople. I would like to find out more about her.

At least four members of my mothers family worked at Allen's.  My father and his brother belonged to the Rugby Club, I think it was in Goldington Road. I have a couple of  photographs which may be of interest.

As this is my thread I thought it was OK to add the above.
